Charitable Foundation

Improving the Lives of Many

Jo B. Robertson’s life was filled with love and service to others. Founded in 2020, the Foundation was established to continue her legacy of helping to educate, house, clothe and feed the less fortunate.

Every person has the chance to make a change for good — no matter how big or small. Whatever amount you can give, or time you are willing to dedicate, know that your contribution makes a difference in the lives of others. Your donation, together with those of our other supporters, brings us ever closer to our goals.

Kenya Girls Forward

Education that Empowers

In 2011, Carolyn Witt Jones and the late Jo B. Robertson envisioned a collective effort to fund education for girls in Kenya, so they founded the Kenya Girls Forward Fund which has thus far supported 118 students who would otherwise not have access to secondary school.

The cost of room and board, uniforms, and school supplies is unaffordable for these bright young girls who yearn for a better life. The girls know that to succeed and break their cycle of poverty, they must go to school. 85% of Kenyan girls live in poverty. An education means freedom and is a springboard for their success and improved lives for all in their families.
